Within the Festivalpark one Coin costs €3.90. You can purchase your Coins in advance at a discounted rate of €3.60 per Coin. Offer subject to conditions, valid until Sunday 28 June 2026, 11.59 pm.

Coins can be purchased during the festival via the QR code on the tag of your festival wristband, via the Rock Werchter app or at the counters. One Coin costs €3.90. After purchase, your Coins are immediately loaded onto the chip of your festival wristband. You can then pay easily by swiping your wristband at the food and drink stands.

You can order Coins in several ways:

• In advance at a special rate: buy your Coins beforehand for €3.60 per Coin. Offer subject to conditions, promotional offer valid until Sunday 28 June 2026, 11.59 pm.
• At the top-up counters: payment can be made by bank card, common payment apps, or cash.
• Via the QR code on your wristband: scan the QR code with your smartphone camera (not with your banking app), follow the instructions, and top up your Coins.
• Via the cashless button in the Rock Werchter app.

You can purchase Coins in advance during the presale. You can link your cashless account to your festival ticket later, as soon as your ticket is available in the Ticketmaster app.

This list provides you with an initial indication, helping you decide how many Coins you may wish to purchase in advance. A full price list will follow shortly before the festival.

Yes, you can request a refund from Thursday 9 July 2026 at 11.00 am until Sunday 9 August 2026 at 11.59 pm, on rockwerchter.be/cashless. After this period has elapsed, no refunds will be processed.

• Refunds will be processed no later than one week after your request.
• An administrative fee of €3.50 will be charged per refund.
• Registration is required to submit a request.
• Within the EU: choose an IBAN payment.
• Outside the EU (no IBAN): choose an international payment.

Refunds for Coins purchased for Werchter Parklife or Werchter Boutique will be processed via werchterparklife.be and werchterboutique.be respectively.

(*Only Coins you have purchased will be refunded, see conditions of sale).

An administrative fee of €3.50 will be charged for each refund. Each request is manually reviewed and processed. These as well as other service and processing costs are included in the refund fee.

Anyone who uses up all the Coins on their wristband or card does not need to request a refund and therefore will not be charged a refund fee.

Tip: It's quite easy to have a Coin balance of 0 at the end of the festival so you don't have to request a refund. Say you have 0.2 Coins left. Via the QR Code, app or counter, you can purchase an extra 0.8 Coins. With 1 Coin, you can then purchase a drink in an R-Pet bottle or can, for example.

Are you having problems, with reloading Coins for example? Or are your pre-purchased Coins not linked to your tag after scanning your ticket? We are happy to help at any of our cashless helpdesks in the Festivalpark or in Central Park at The Hive.

The cashless team is also available before, during and after the festival via cashless@livenation.be.

We have chosen this closed-loop system because it offers good stability, since the counters and food stands are not dependent on the connectivity of the payment terminals.

This system also represents an easy way to refund the 0.2 Coin deposit on reusable cups when they are returned. Anyone who brings 15 R-Pet bottles or cans back, will receive a Recycling Coin on their tag.

You can safely resell your ticket via the Ticketmaster Resale system. Coins will not be resold along with it. The ticket resold via this Ticketmaster service will get a new barcode. You can request a refund for any Coins you have purchased during the regular refund period.

Please note that if you have a festival ticket linked to Coins, and you choose to sell it through another channel than Ticketmaster Resale, the Coins will remain tied to the ticket. The new owner can use them. Be aware that trading tickets through unofficial channels is entirely at your own risk.

Yes, you can log in with the e-mail address and password you used previously and then link your Rock Werchter 2026 festival ticket to your account.

Previous links will have disappeared from your account, as the corresponding events have ended.

You can check your Coins balance at the bars, food stands and at the counters at the festival. Have you bought your Coins using a QR code and are therefore a registered user? Then you can view your Coins balance in the same way as well as a summary of your orders.

No, that's not possible. A festival ticket is strictly personal per festivalgoer, so a separate account is required per ticket.

Would you like to set up a kitty with your friends? Then choose for the groupie card! Buy Coins together at a top-up counter and load them onto a single shared card, the Groupie Card, which you all use together. A minimum top-up of 10 Coins is required to obtain this card.

No, this is not possible. The Groupie Card can only be obtained at the festival itself at one of the top-up counters.

Yes, this payment system is secure. A few additional tips to avoid abuse:

• Don't share any pictures of your QR code on your tag or ticket on social media.
• Create an account. As a registered user, you are better protected against the loss of your card/bracelet (and thus your Coins). 

Are you a registered user? Have you loaded Coins via the QR code or app and thus created an account? Then please report to the cashless helpdesk. Your card or wristband will be blocked there. After verification of your ID and ticket, you will receive a new card or wristband onto which your remaining Coins will be loaded.

Are you a non-registered user? Did you purchase your Coins at a top-up counter and not create an account? In that case, unfortunately, both your wristband or card and the Coins on it are lost, and our helpdesk staff will not be able to transfer your balance.

The festival wristbands are equipped with a tag (chip). You receive this wristband at the entrance in exchange for scanning your festival ticket. From that moment, the chip in your wristband is your key to the festival. The tag itself does not contain any personal data. This remains the case when you top up Coins at the top-up counters. If you purchase Coins via the QR code on your wristband or through our mobile app, you create an account. In that case, some information, such as your email address, is stored to process payments and transactions.

We are unable to provide an invoice for your purchased Coins. After the festival, you can generate and download receipts through your cashless account. These receipts provide an overview of all the products you consumed, listed in euros. 

When creating a transaction overview, you can add your own details (name or company, address, VAT number). Once a transaction overview has been created and downloaded, the details can no longer be modified.

This offer is valid from 3 April 2026, 10.00 am, until 28 June 2026, 11.59 pm. For each purchase block of 20 Coins, the customer will receive 18.46 Coins and 1.54 Free Coins. A minimum top-up of 20 Coins is required to qualify for this offer. A maximum of 500 Coins may be purchased per account. During the festival, for each purchased package of 20 Coins, Free Coins will be used first, followed by the regular Coins. Allocated Free Coins are non-refundable. Rock Werchter reserves the right to change the terms and conditions or cancel the offer at any time.
