Imagine it happening to you. Teddy Swims released two singles in 2023 as warm-ups for his debut album I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1). The first one, 'What More Can I Say', barely made a mark. But the follow-up, 'Lose Control', was a huge hit. It became the longest-listed song ever on the Billboard Hot 100. The song spent no less than 80 weeks in a row - that's a year and a half - in the US top 10. The singer-songwriter with the warm soul voice is flooded with attention. Every door opened simultaneously. He worked with Armin Van Buuren, he toured with Greta Van Fleet and he performed at the NRL Grand Final, the most important rugby match of the year. A star is born! By the way, he was born Jaten Dimsdale. The 'Swims' in his stage name stands for Someone Who Isn't Me Sometimes.
