The e-festival ticket is NOT valid for travelling by train but entitles you to one free nominative e-train ticket which can be ordered as from 30/05/2012 on www.sncb.be/rockwerchter
The classic admission festival tickets and the e-train tickets are valid as an SNCB ticket for one outward journey and one return journey in 2nd class from any Belgian station* to LEUVEN in the period of Wednesday 27/06/2012 as from 11am until Monday 02/07/2012 inclusive. They are also valid for the final outward and return lap with busses from DE LIJN from the LEUVEN station to the festival site in Werchter in the period of Thursday 28/06/2012 until Monday 02/07/2012 inclusive.
Only if you have a camping ticket xl, the classic admission festival ticket and e-train ticket are already valid for the bus as from Wednesday 27/06/2012 as from 1pm.
The festival goers from abroad can combine their classic admission festival ticket or e-train ticket with a transport ticket (outward and return journey) which is valid on the foreign railway networks until the Belgian frontier. As from there, their Rock Werchter ticket (not the e-festival ticket) or e-train ticket is valid for the train.
IMPORTANT: do consult www.sncb.be/rockwerchter for the terms of use and validity of all the types of tickets and for ordering your e-train ticket.
* attention: travellers who have Brussel-Nationaal-Luchthaven as departure or destination station have to pay the Diabolo fee.
It is only possible to camp out in the vicinity of the Festival Park if you can produce both a festival- and campsite ticket.
Two types of campsite tickets are available: the regular campsite ticket and the campsite xl ticket.
Regular campsite ticket: A regular campsite ticket costs 18 euro (cost for postage – if applicable – and handling not included) in advance, regardless of the length of stay. This campsite ticket is valid as from Thursday morning June 28, 8am until Monday July 2 at noon. The regular campsite ticket is valid for use at the campsite of one's choice. The ticketbuyer can opt for a classic ticket or an e-ticket.
Campsite xl ticket: This ticket enables you to come and stay at camp sites A2, A3 and A4 as from Wednesday June 27 at 4pm. The ticket remains valid until Monday July 2 at noon. Please do keep in mind that only 3 campsites will open on Wednesday, so the availability of xl tickets is limited. A campsite xl ticket can only be ordered as e-ticket and cost 25 euro (handling cost not included) in advance.
Important to know: campsites are operated by local organizations, not by the festival organizers.
Drink/food coupons enable you to purchase from both food and drinks in the Festival Park.
Good advice: benefit from buying your food/drink coupons in advance for 2,40 euro/coupon. During the festival, coupons cost 2,50 euro each.
The coupons purchased in presales are sent out in the guise of ‘food&drinks vouchers’. These vouchers come with a unique barcode. They are scanned at a coupon stall on the festival ground in order for its holder to receive the corresponding amount of coupons.
There is no discount for children. On the Festival Ground there is no child care either.
