Yong Yello

Yong Yello is the stage name of rapper and producer Yello Staelens. Yello comes from the eighties Swiss electronica duo of the same name. His father was a fan. The Yong is added when he becomes the youngest member of Antwerp hip-hop collective “Eigen Makelij”. He studies music production and makes a name for himself behind the scenes as Glints' sparring partner and Tourist LeMC's beats supplier. In time, the studio rat wants his own business. Yong Yello enters 2021 in a big way with Marcel & The Het Magnetisme Van De Goot. The new crown prince of the Antwerp song impresses on the biggest stages with a great seven-member backing band. The success story continues seamlessly with Bennie & De Banaliteit van Ons Bestaan (2025).
