Nothing But Thieves have a master’s degree in creating perfect rock songs. The quintet from the British coastal city of Southend won praise from Muse early on. They opened for them on their Drones World Tour in 2016. The band’s secret weapon is singer Conor Mason, who possesses the same range as Adele. Their eponymous debut went gold in the UK in 2015. The rest of Europe followed after ‘Broken Machine’ (2017). Their latest album, ‘Dead Club City’ (2023) is a concept album about feeling part of a club. The story takes place in a futuristic world ruled by selfishness and the desire for success. The album gave them their first top ten listing and the major radio hit ‘Overcome’ in Belgium. It was rewarded in February 2024 with a sold-out concert in the Lotto Arena.
