Hot Mulligan

Hot Mulligan is an American emo band. The four were university friends with a passion for gaming who, one day, decided to try making music together. The themes vary wildly – for example, about the strangeness of growing older and how easy it is to lose touch with yourself. But they’ve also got some silly songs with titles such as ‘This Song Is Called It’s Called What’s It Called’ and ‘Featuring Mark Hoppus’. The Blink-182 luminary did not, of course, have anything to do with the song, though it has gained his approval. With their latest album, ‘Why Would I Watch’ (2023), Hot Mulligan decisively cast off their anonymity and launched themselves into orbit. “We invented post-emo. We are also known as the #1 Hot New Band”, they claim on Spotify. That last part is more a fact than a joke.
