Toilets are always free of charge and accessible 24 hours a day.

Keep the campsite clean

At The Hive/The Hive My Space we use reusable cups. You pay a deposit of 0.3 Coin per cup. If you take the empty cup to a recycle/return point, the deposit will be added to the Coin balance on your wristband or groupie card. Anyone who hands in 15 empty RPET bottles will receive a free Coin at the recycle/return stand.

End of the day and no longer feel like returning cups to a recycle/return point? Don't throw your cup away, drop it in one of our 'gitterboxes'. We donate the proceeds from the cups that end up in the gitterbox to the NGO Join For Water. Because we believe it is important to use water sustainably. We support a project nearby, Waterwijs Werchter, and a project in the Andes region (Ecuador/Peru).

Take your tent back home

Every camper at The Hive or The Hive Resort receives a recycling kit with bin bags upon arrival.Full bags can be delivered to the various waste points. Anyone who needs an extra bag will receive one upon simple request.

We want to pay special attention to the tents. Every year there are those abandoned tents. The average tent weighs 3.5 kg and is mostly made of plastic. Take positive action, reduce your own carbon footprint and take your tent back home and keep reusing them.

Donate surplus food and drinks to the Food Bank

Campers at The Hive can donate food surpluses to ‘de Voedselbanken’ (Food Banks). You can find a collection point in each comfort zone.

Charging point

You can visit the phone charging stand located at Central Park to rent a powerbank. This stand is open from Thursday to Sunday from 10.30 am to 3 pm and from 11 pm to 2 am.
