Zara Larsson has been a superstar since she was ten years old. In 2008 she won Talang, the Swedish equivalent of Britain’s Got Talent, impressing judged with covers of songs by Céline Dion and Whitney Houston. Larsson waited four years to capitalise on her victory. She briefly managed to be Scandinavia’s best kept secret, but in 2015 the whole world fell in love with ‘Lush Life’. This catchy, upbeat number made it into the charts in 24 countries and is on its way to 1.5 billion streams on Spotify alone. Since then, the hit machine has been going full speed ahead, thanks in part to collaborations with stars such as Clean Bandit, David Guetta, MNEK and Young Thug. The live version of ‘I Need Love’ with her compatriots First Aid Kit is a must-see. Her visit to Werchter will be all about ‘Venus’ (2024), her third international album.
