Tsar B
Justine Bourgeus is one of the most versatile and talented artists in these parts. A small sample of her artistic journey: violinist of School Is Cool, the soundtracks of Godvergeten and This Is Not A Murder Mystery, techno as Star B, music for theatre (KVS), film (Julian) and dance (choreographer Alexander Chung) and more. Tsar B is at the centre of it all. It's where Bourgeus plays with pop, classical and beats. And with form, colour and content. The Writer (2026) is her - third - dream world and playground. A male choir glides over thundering electronics. A bridge is built between George Bizet and Nancy Sinatra. And among it all, there is even a sugary cover of Bryan Adams' “Heaven”. It's grand and overwhelming. And above all, it's beautiful.
