SONS

SONS consists of four crazed rockers from the Waasland area who aim to shred like Black Sabbath. Their fathers are friends. Hence the name. The group was discovered in 2018 during Studio Brussels' “De Nieuwe Lichting”. Juror Jan Paternoster (Black Box Revelation): ‘I would be proud if my sons played in that band.’ Even before the release of their 2019 debut album Family Dinner, they are already on the main stage at Rock Werchter. Things shred well for the foursome internationally, as well. The US radio station KEXP spreads their psychedelic garage punk intergalactically, labelling the group ‘sensational chaos’. On their latest album, Hello (2025), they find more depth and dynamism. Third album, fourth Werchter!
