Last Train

‘Last Train is the best thing to happen to French rock since Noir Désir’. That was the verdict of the rock press on the release of their debut album Weathering (2017). The quartet hail from the Alsace region and sing in English. Their energetic sound recalls Muse and Placebo, two heavyweights they have already joined on world tours. Playing live is their greatest passion: the counter now stands at more than 600 shows. Last Train keep a tight grip on their operation and prefer to do things themselves. The band run their own label, their own booking agency, and even their own festival. “La Messe de Minuit” takes place annually in Lyon and features guitar bands only. On Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (2024), the band delivered another surprise by handing their songs over to the Orchestre National de Mulhouse – music that sounds like the soundtrack to an imaginary film.
