Isaac Roux

Louis De Roo is in it for the long haul. He’s not skipping a single step in building up what will be a long-running career. In 2015, he was one of 100 new students at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), also known as Paul McCartney’s school. He chose songwriting. Back home in Belgium, De Roo studied music management at PXL Music, won the audience award at Humo’s Rock Rally 2022 and was a winner of De Nieuwe Lichting (Studio Brussel). In the meantime, he transformed into Isaac Roux, a singer-songwriter in love with Bon Iver and Ben Howard and who invites comparisons with Novastar. With the preparations done, it’s time for the party to commence. 2024 promises to be exciting; he kicked off the year with a live session on German radio station Deutschlandfunk Kultur in January, and promises to release his first album in the second half of the year.
