HAEVN

HAEVN is born when film soundtrack composer Jorrit Kleijnen and singer-songwriter Marijn van der Meer are making music for commercials. The 30-second compositions they create turn out to do very well on Shazam's charts. Maybe we should try turning them into fully-fledged songs, the Dutch duo thinks. The result is compelling music with cinematic elements that can range from new classical to uptempo synthpop. They always give it everything they can. Their successful debut album Eyes Closed (2018) was enhanced on stage with a string orchestra and a gospel choir. According to the two, the Werchter concert will be a very personal experience that explores new artistic territory.
