Festival tickets

  • Festival tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged for a different event.
  • The loss or theft of the festival ticket is the liability of the buyer and is not subject to replacement or refund.
  • It is forbidden to bring to the grounds professional photography, film or recording equipment, alcoholic drinks, glass, plastic bottles, cans, drugs, fireworks, weapons, sharp objects or other objects which the organisation considers dangerous. For safety reasons it is also forbidden to bring seats, (folding) chairs or umbrellas. When found these objects will be confiscated by security staff. The organisation may alter or extend this list at any time.
  • Starting fires is strictly prohibited.
  • Entering the festival site implies your agreement with all preventive and monitoring measures taken by the organiser or safety team including potential frisking and bag searches. Failing to comply with these measures will lead to refusal or withdrawal of the right of access.
  • Do not buy your festival ticket on the street; there is a chance that it is a forgery. Only buy your festival tickets from the recognised web addresses.
  • The artists and organisers of the festival, SNCB and De Lijn cannot be held liable for damages, loss or theft or any accident that may occur.
  • The official sale of t-shirts and souvenirs takes place exclusively on the festival site.
  • Festival tickets may not be used for commercial or promotional purposes without the permission of the organiser. In addition, carrying out any commercial or promotional activities on the festival site without the prior permission of the organiser is strictly prohibited.
  • Ticket buyers must comply with the Belgian ‘Act regarding the Sale of Entrance Tickets to Events’ (as published in the Belgian Law Gazette on 30 July 2013).
  • Changes to the programme are no reason for a full or partial refund of the festival ticket. The organiser accepts no responsibility in the case of events beyond its control.
  • Anyone copying the festival ticket will be prosecuted by law.
  • The organisers cannot be held responsible for any cases of damage on the campsites because they do not run the campsites (with the exception of The Hive). Complaints regarding campsites may be directed to the campsite owner and the Municipalities of Rotselaar or Haacht.
  • TV recordings are made during the festival. It is possible that you will appear on film. By entering the festival grounds you agree to waive your portrait rights.
  • The organiser and/or official ticket distributor reserves the right to verify the identity of the festival-goer.

Free train journey to Rock Werchter

The e-festivaltickets are not valid as train tickets. However, each e-festivalticket entitles you to 1 FREE and personal E-TRAIN TICKET to Rock Werchter and the campsites. How to order your e-train ticket?

  • Download your SNCB code from www.ticketmaster.be/rw. This code is available as from the 7th of June 2017.
  • Go to thetrain.be/rockwerchter and download your e-train ticket.
  • Print your e-train ticket on A4 format paper or save the PDF on your smartphone or tablet.

Camping tickets

  • The camping ticket for ‘The Hive’ covers a single pitch on ‘The Hive’ from Wednesday at 4pm, but does not give access to the festival grounds.
  • The camping ticket for ‘The Hive Resort’ covers a single pitch or the accommodation purchased at ‘The Hive Resort’ from Wednesday at 4pm and gives access to the facilities available at ‘The Hive’, but does not give access to the festival grounds.
  • The camping ticket for ‘The Hive Mobilhomes’ covers a single pitch on ‘The Hive Mobilhomes’ from Wednesday at 4pm, but does not give access to the festival grounds.
  • The camping ticket for ‘The Hive ADL’ covers a single pitch on ‘The Hive ADL’ from Wednesday at 4pm, but does not give access to the festival grounds.
  • A camping ticket is valid only when combined with a festival ticket.
  • Camping tickets are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
  • Camping tickets cannot be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen.
  • The camping ticket is valid for the entire weekend. Separate day tickets for the campsite are not available.
  • The following are not permitted on the campsites: cars, bikes and motorbikes, trailers, caravans, mobile homes (except The Hive Mobilhomes), etc.
  • The following are forbidden: pets, open fires, barbecues, gas systems, glass, candles, beer pumping systems, cans, generators, music systems, sharp objects,  weapons or any other object which the organisation considers dangerous. The organisation may alter or extend this list at any time.
  • It is forbidden to distribute flyers or product samples on or around the campsites.
  • It is forbidden to carry out commercial activities on the campsites without prior permission from the festival organisers.
  • It is forbidden to use the camping ticket for commercial or promotional ends without prior permission from the festival organisers.
  • By entering the campsite grounds you signal your consent to a possible security search. You will not be given access if you refuse.
  • Do not purchase your ticket on the street, it may have been forged. Always purchase your tickets from an official point of sale.
  • Access to the campsites can be refused or denied at any time.
  • Neither the artists appearing at the festival nor the festival organisers can be held liable for any  damage, loss or theft of property or any accident that might occur at the campsites.  The festival organisers cannot be held liable for cases of force majeure.
  • The purchaser of the camping ticket must abide by the ‘law concerning the sale of entrance tickets to events’ (MB 30 July 2013)
  • TV recordings are made during the festival. It is possible that you will appear on film. By entering the campsite(s) you agree to waive your portrait rights.
  • Wild camping is forbidden.

Campsite opening times

  • The Hive, The Hive Mobilhomes and The Hive Resort: from Wednesday 28 June 2017 (4pm) to Monday 3 July 2017 at noon.
  • The Hive ADL: from Thursday 29 June 2017 (8am) to Monday 3 July 2017 at noon.
