The xx back at Rock Werchter on Friday 3 July

The xx are returning to Rock Werchter, and that’s big news! The three members are currently spending a lot of time in the studio, working together on new music. In 2026, they’ll make their long-awaited return to the stage. On Friday 3 July, The xx will close the Main Stage of Rock Werchter with their minimalist mix of indierock, electronica, and dreampop. Their last appearance at the festival was in 2012. This is the comeback that will make Werchter’s hearts beat faster.

​Rock Werchter 2026 will take place at the Festivalpark in Werchter from Thursday 2 July to Sunday 5 July. Ticket sales start on Friday 21 November at 10 AM. Pre-registering, which grants earlier access to festival tickets, is already possible.
