Marc Rebillet

Marc Rebillet is a wizard with sound. Without much preparation, the New Yorker steps on to the stage and creates new songs on the spot. His main tools are a) a talent for improvisation, b) humour, c) a laptop and d) a loop station - earning him the nickname ‘Loop Daddy’. His rise to fame began with weekly YouTube posts in 2016. After just two weeks he had clocked up an impressive 50,000 subscribers, and today, that figure stands at over two million. The transition from his bedroom to major festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Rock Werchter) turned out to be much easier than expected, though he still enjoys playing on the streets as much as he does on the big stage. What’s his secret? “I put some ideas together before I play, and make sure I know exactly who my audience is going to be.” You could call that custom-made music. He is certainly a unique performer.
