Close to the festival park, you’ll find The Hive. The Hive Camping, run by the festival organization, offer great comfort and facilities. There are multiple camping options:
The Hive is open from Wednesday 26 June at 2pm. Campers staying on The Hive/The Hive My Space/The Hive Resort and/or The Hive ADL, also have access to CNTRL PRK, to relax during daytime and party at night.
Not run by the festival organization, are the Camping Regular campsites, all within walking distance of the festival park. These campsites are rather basic, but no less enjoyable! The Camping Regular campsites open on Thursday morning.
Camping Mobilhome is exclusively for campers/motorhomes. With tailored facilities.
Important: wild camping is strictly forbidden by law.
If you wish to stay on one of the campsites, be sure to purchase a camping ticket in time. A camping tickets needs to be purchased per person who wished to stay on one of the campsites.
Camping tickets are part of the packages that are available for The Hive Resort, The Hive My Space and Camping Mobilhome.
Our festival campsites are meant for festivalgoers. At the entrance, you'll need to produce your camping ticket for the campsite in question, as well as either your valid festival ticket or bracelet.
In exchange for a valid camping ticket and upon presentation of a valid festival ticket, you can check in to the campsite. You will receive a camping bracelet showing which campsite you are staying on. The camping bracelet does not grant access to any of the other campsites.
Do you wish to camp with friends on one of the festival campsites? Be sure to decide on the campsite of your choice in advance! Tickets cannot be exchanged after your purchase.
In order to keep the campsites as clean as possible, each camper will receive bin bags on arrival. The idea is to leave the (full) bags in the dedicated area when you leave.
Packing your tent and taking it back home with you is a piece of cake. We count on your common (and green) sense to go for a greener Werchter together.
(*) About gazebos (‘party tents’): only gazebos with a maximal size of 3 metres by 3 metres are allowed. Gazebos have to be set up to cover at least half of your tent. Gazebos cannot be set up next to each other. A maximum of one gazebo is allowed in between multiple tents. Any tents/gazebos not pitched according to the rules will be removed. Please follow The Hive campsite staff’s directions. May we ask to securely set up your gazebo, taking into account its wind sensitivity?
Every campsite is divided into zones with fire lanes between them. Tents must be set up on the proper pitches. Please follow the campsite staff's instructions. Tents in the fire lane will be removed by the campsite staff.
Contact the camping manager on the spot.
Rock Werchter’s campsites - except for The Hive, The Hive My Space, The Hive ADL and The Hive Resort - are run by local associations, not by the festival’s organizers. The latter cannot be held responsible for any abuse on campsites. Complaints should be lodged with the campsite supervisor. Of course, problems may be pointed out to the local authorities of Haacht or Rotselaar and to the festival organizers as well. All camping-related matters are co-ordinated by the local councils of Haacht and Rotselaar. They have drawn up the rules with regard to pricing, opening hours, number of toilets, wrist bands, lighting, firebreaks, cleaning...
The Hive ADL campsite is all about people with a disability, offering various facilities so these visitors can enjoy the festival to the fullest. The Hive ADL is located right across the street of the festival park. Also this year, Rock Werchter works in collaboration with Inter, an organization aiming for an optimal accessibility to events for people with a disability.
A good piece of advice: leave your valuables at home. And whatever you do, don’t leave them in your tent unsupervised. None of the organizing parties (campsite staff, festival organizer, local authorities) can be held responsible for possible theft. Should you decide to take valuables along, you can always store them in the lockers at the Festival Park.
Lost your keys, wallet, phone…? That’s annoying, but it happens. All lost objects will be gathered at the info stands. Found something yourself? Drop it off at one of the info stands.
Our lost & found service is available until Tuesday 16 July, via email@example.com.
All items that haven’t been collected will be transfered to the municipality of Rotselaar on 17 July. Reach them on firstname.lastname@example.org.
