Update: The Barn

A great line-up at an exceptional festival tent: that’s The Barn. We put on the best productions, and many people want to attend the shows. Although The Barn has a capacity of 20,000 people, for safety reasons, we had to stop people from entering the tent as it had reached full capacity during the performances by Warhaus, Charlotte de Witte and Iggy Pop yesterday and during the performances by Ben Howard and Editors. We monitor the occupancy very closely.

We understand that some of you are disappointed when the tent door closes, but when it reaches its full capacity, we must stop more people from entering. There is a big screen between The Barn and KluB C streaming the show with the best sound. If you don’t want to miss a show, we recommend getting to The Barn early.

Because we are again expecting many concertgoers at The Barn today and tomorrow, we have made some improvements to the site. To reduce the pressure outside the tent, an entrance structure with staffed crash barriers and gates has been installed. This will ensure that your entry into the tent is smoother and will reduce the crowding outside it. Also, a second outside screen with a PA has been placed on the right side of the tent.
