New names for Rock Werchter are quickly rolling in. Hot on the heels of the announcement earlier this week that Red Hot Chili Peppers and Editors are appearing, today we’re adding 24 acts to the line-up in one fell swoop. In true Rock Werchter tradition, this new crop is highly varied and adventurous. Rock, pop, soul, indie, hip-hop, singer-songwriter, afrobeat and dark folk – they are all present and correct at Rock Werchter.
Newly announced for Thursday, 29 June are Aurora, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The 1975 and Sam Fender. Cavetown, The HU, slowthai, The Interrupters, Wadruna, Tamino and The Black Keys will be on stage on Friday, 30 June. Newcomers for 1 July are Adekunle Gold, Dean Lewis, Sigur Rós, Xavier Rudd, Paolo Nutini and Machine Gun Kelly. Adding to the list for 2 July are Lovejoy, Pip Millett, Amenra, Puscifer, Gabriels, Jacob Collier and The Lumineers.
Rock Werchter 2023 will take place at the Festivalpark in Werchter from Thursday, 29 June to Sunday, 2 July. Previously announced: Stromae (Thursday, 29 June), Editors and Red Hot Chili Peppers (Friday, 30 June), Fred again…, Oscar and The Wolf, and Muse (Saturday, 1 July) and Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age (Sunday, 2 July).
