The Last Internationale are one of the most dangerous bands in the world. The New York duo makes dirty rock with a strong message. The titles include ‘Battleground’, ‘Workers of the World - Unite!’ and ‘Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Indian Blood’. The rebellious rockers can count on the support of an important fan. 'It’s the angry blues of The Black Keys with Rage Against The Machine politics and badass frontwoman Delila Paz. I hope it becomes the biggest thing in the world.’ These are the words of Tom Morello, guitarist for Rage Against The Machine. He introduced them to fellow member Brad Wilk, who became their drummer. The Last Internationale recorded their first album in 2014 with producer Brendan O’Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen) and have toured with such upstanding citizens as Robert Plant and The Who. Their new record has the self-explanatory title of ‘Soul on Fire’.
