Trucker cap, beard, tattoos… Rory Graham looks scary, but he's actually a BFG: a Big Friendly Giant. His stage name is taken from Rag’N’ Bonez, a drum & bass project he started in his hometown of Brighton at the age of fifteen. Young Rory was mad about hip-hop, but his most important musical discovery was the blues. Graham’s dad signed him up for a jam session at a local pub. Rory performed a song by blues legend Robert Johnson and was immediately sold on it. From then on it was simply a question of maturing. His debut ‘Human’ (2017) was one of the fastest-selling debuts in the United Kingdom for years. Its successor, ‘Anywhere Away from Here’ (2021) – with a notable guest spot for P!nk – is bound to do just as well, and brings him to Vorst Nationaal and Rock Werchter for the second time.
