Dean Lewis’ artistic career began when his music publisher sent him to London to work with producers Nick Atkinson and Edd Holloway. Their first collaboration changed the young Australian’s life. ‘Waves’ became the second biggest hit of 2017 down under, with more than 100 million streams and 30 million views. ‘Be allright’ (2018) did even better and became an absolute world hit. The story of a breakup symbolises everything that Lewis wants to be. He wants to talk about real things that happen to him or the people around him. And he wants his music to sound just as inspired and solid as the work of his two big heroes: Richard Ashcroft and above all Noel Gallagher.
