One of the best musical stories of the moment. In August 2010 Air Traffic announced they were taking a break from the industry. In October 2017 they announced, on social media, the 10th anniversary celebration of their sole album, ‘Fractured Life’ (2007), in the shape of a small tour. The four Brits had actually left the music business and taken up office jobs. It came as a surprise to many when Air Traffic sold out Leuven’s Het Depot three times over. The public clearly had cherished memories of hits like ‘Charlotte’ and ‘Shooting Star’. The band is from Bournemouth - where they rehearsed near the airport - and plays piano-inspired indie pop. Following the triple in Leuven, bass player Jim Maddock let it be known that they'd love to play Werchter again, as they had in 2007 and 2008. Indeed in 2008 they had actually played twice, filling in for Babyshambles. So, gents, welcome back to the dream factory!
