Rock Werchter is in a party mood! Yesterday evening, the European Festival Award ceremony was held in Groningen in the Netherlands. Over the past few months, festival goers and experts from the music business have been asked to determine 13 award winners. During the festive ceremony at Groningen's Oosterpoort, featuring live performances by artists such as Selah Sue and James Vincent McMorrow, Rock Werchter received the award for ‘Best European Festival Line-Up’. Live Nation Belgium would eventually cheer a second time, as I Love Techno took home the award for ‘Best Indoor Festival’. An overview of the winners can be found at http://eu.festivalawards.com/.
