The New Year brings us more good news. Rock Werchter is erecting a third stage, so has lots more to offer this year. The festival doesn't compartmentalise, and books acts from across the musical gamut. It does so now more than ever before. From the greatest guitar to the biggest beats, from warm melody to funky bass, from indie pop to punk legend - Rock Werchter has it all. Established artists, today's and yesterday's heroes and the big sensations take to the Main Stage as usual. The Pyramid Marquee hosts all flavours of electronic dance on Thursday and Friday. As in previous years, we have upcoming talent, the more intimate performances and dance beats into the small hours on Saturday and Sunday. The new tent –which has no name yet but soon will- offers an eclectic firmament - from the already brilliant, to the stars in the making. It will be nice to see old friends, but just as nice to find the heroes of tomorrow. Whatever the case, the stage offers all kinds of music in the best possible conditions. A sort of in-festival concert hall!
