ROCK WERCHTER FOR A GOOD CAUSE
The artists who appeared at Rock Werchter last weekend showed their best sides as well as their creativity. And not just on stage – during Rock Werchter an art studio was set up in the artists' village. Over 63 artists (including P!nk, La Roux, Rammstein and Skin) painted either a sculpture by artist Jorgen Missotten or a mirror. And take it from us, they're real gems! The artworks are being put up for auction from 15 to 22 July viawww.troostwijkauctions.com. All the proceeds of the auction will go to ‘Home Rock Werchter’, a building project managed by the Rozemarijn NGO in Haacht which runs a centre for adults with a disability. If you want to see the artworks live, they will be on show in the foyer of the Cultuurhuis Jack-Op in Werchter from 16 to 21 July, where you can catch them between 3pm and 8pm.
