Miles Kane

The unknown star that everybody actually knows already. Miles Kane is the British super talent who owns The Last Shadow Puppets along with Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) and James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco). ‘The Age of the Understatement’ (2008) was a top single and ditto album. At Glastonbury 2008 none other than Jack White (ex-White Stripes) joined him for one of the rare live concerts. Kane and Turner got to know each other when The Rascals, the former’s band, was allowed to tour with Arctic Monkeys, the latter’s band, as their supporting act. On the road they realised they shared the same musical examples and that their talents are well matched. The Rascals turned out to be the wrong platform to let Kane’s star shine. He left the band and went solo. ‘The Colour of the Trap’ (2011) was the first finger exercise of a man who is unstoppable.
