‘Live electronic outfit. Born in Brussels, based in East London.’ According to Vuurwerk's Facebook page. The project is the brainchild of the Brussels producer collective Run Tell Secrecy. Offbeat club music that is as danceable as it is spirited. Live a treat for the eye and the ear. Vuurwerk have been doing interesting things for some time now, albeit below the radar. They have made remixes by/for Arsenal, Balthazar and Bon Iver and work closely together with Max Colombie. He is the guest voice (as Climb X) on the first EPs and has produced a couple of video clips. It is said Vuurwerk had a hand in his switch from folkrock to Oscar and the Wolf. So high time for key figures Jergan Callebaut and Thieu Seynaeve to also take a big step. They have lived in London for a couple of years now, one working as a psychologist and the other as a psychiatrist. The city from where they will soon be launching their first album.
