She is the French revelation of the year. She's the Christine and The Queens of 2017. Jain's music is the summary of her unusual youth. Due to her father's profession, she has lived all over the world. Congo exposed her to dance. She learned to play the drums in France. In Dubai she discovered the darbuka, a traditional Middle Eastern drum. Back in France she fell in love with electro and Kendrick Lamar. These are all layers that have been carefully piled up and have had time to blend. ‘Zanaka’ (2015) is a unique album; it's a diary of Jain's experiences between the ages of 16 and 23. She put it to music together with the French artist Yodelice. The idea was a resounding success. An enjoyable performance in 2016 during Les Victoires de la Musique (the French Grammy Awards) massively boosted sales of ‘Zanaka’. At the beginning of 2017 she received the Best Female Artist award at the very same awards ceremony.
