What can I do if I seem to have lost my festival ticket or e-festival ticket?

What if my ticket bears another name (e.g. your name being different from that of the one who bought the tickets)?
If you are in the possession of tickets that have been ordered by someone whose name is different from yours, you better take a copy of this person's ID card and a hand-written licence drawn up by this person, in case you need to verify your identity.
Can I bring my kids to Rock Werchter?
Rock Werchter is a festival for the young, older youngsters and younger elders. Every day about 80,000 festival goers gather at the Festival Park. So this is not exactly the ideal place to bring your little children. There will be no child care nor is there a discount for children.
What is the minimum age for accessing the festival ground?
There is no such thing as a minimum age, but we do strongly advise to leave your kids at home. Give them a ticket for Rock Werchter 2020 for example.
How do I avoid traffic jams on my way to Werchter?
Simple: by not coming to the festival by car. We strongly advise you to come to Werchter by bicycle or public transport. Public transport has been organized in such a way that your trip will go smoothly. Each festival ticket grants can also become an SNCB train ticket to Leuven from every Belgian railway station. In Leuven, there are special festival buses operated by De Lijn which will take you to the Provinciebaan, within walking distance from the festival ground. Can I choose on which campsite I want to stay?
It is possible to stay at the campsite of your choice, according to the first come, first served principle. Once a campsite has reached its full capacity, it is no longer possible to stay there and you are kindly requested to turn to another campsite. Bear in mind that in order to stay at a campsite you must also have a valid festival ticket with you.
Is it possible to camp with a camper van?
This is impossible at regular campsites.
There are 2 campings where you can stay with your camper van or motorhome.
Those are B8 (via Rotselaar) and A7 (via Haacht).
A spot costs 40 euro that you pay on site when you arrive. Every person staying on those campings will need a camping ticket.
Important: only camper vans and motorhomes are allowed on these campings! No tents, caravans, ...
Is there any power supply at campsites?
Is it also possible to obtain campsite tickets for 1, 2 or 3 nights?
The price for a campsite ticket is always the same, regardless of the length of your stay. There are two types of campsite tickets for sale: the regular campsite ticket and the campsite ticket xl.
I'd rather not stay at a campsite. Are there nice hotels or B&Bs nearby?
The nearby cities of Leuven and Mechelen have really nice accommodation for tourists. Werchter can be reached in no time from these cities. Take a train to Leuven from Mechelen and from Leuven you can use the special shuttle service which is operated between Leuven station and the Festival Park. Or what about a bike ride?

Is there any supermarket nearby?
There is no supermarket nearby. At the festival shop, which is located at campsite A3, you can find all basic products. At the bridge in Werchter there will be a little festivalsupermarket as well.
Can I rent a tent at my campsite?
It is not possible to rent a tent on site.
Which sanitary facilities are provided at the camp sites?
Each campsite comes with a sanitary block with washing facilities and free toilets. Free drinking water is also available at campsites.
Who should I turn to if I have a question about the campsite during my stay?
Contact the camping manager on the spot, since the sites are run by local organizations, NOT by the festival organizers. So the latter can under no circumstances be held liable for possible wrongs at a particular campsite. So complaints with regard to campsites need to be lodged against those who run the campsite. It is of course not forbidden to pass on complaints to the towns of Haacht and Rotselaar, or to the festival organizers. The town councils of Haacht and Rotselaar co-ordinate the whole and establish rules with regard to pricing, opening hours, number of toilets, wristbands, lighting, firebreaks, cleaning, etc.
Can I come and pitch my tent in Werchter on Wednesday evening?
People who have bought a campsite xl ticket can come and pitch their tents in Werchter as from Wednesday June 27 at 4pm (campsites A2, A3 and A4 only!) The ticket remains valid until Monday July 2 at noon. Bear in mind that only 3 campsites will open up on Wednesday, so the number of available campsite xl tickets is limited. The campsite xl ticket is only available as an e-ticket and costs 25 Euros (handling not included) in advance.
Can I stay at a campsite after the festival?
That is possible for a while after the festival. Campsites of the festival close Monday 2nd July round noon.
Do I have access to all campsites with my campsite ticket?
No, once you have checked in, you will receive a wristband which bears your campsite number and which only grants you access to your own campsite.
Where can I leave my bicycle?
KBC will set up 3 bicycle shelters. One at the Haachtsesteenweg, one at Provinciebaan and – like previous years – one at Werchter's village square, close to the church. These parking facilities are all within walking distance from the festival ground. Parking your bicycle at the guarded parking facility is free of charge. They will be operated 24/24.
Where can I park my car?
There are various parking lots within walking distance from the festival ground, along the three access roads. The parking fee is 15 euro.
What is there to eat on the festival ground?
Rock Werchter offers you a wide range of food stalls: from pasta dishes, wok dishes, French fries, waffles, poffertjes (tiny pancakes) and ice cream to salads and healthy sandwiches. Don't forget to buy drink/food coupons at the coupon stalls first. There is also a wide range of vegetarian food.
What is there to drink on the festival ground?
There are various possibilities to quench your thirst: beer and refreshing drinks, but also coffee, milk, juices, wine and cava. Don't forget to buy food/drink coupons first.
What is the price of a food/drink coupon?
Drink/food coupons enable you to purchase from both food and drinks in the Festival Park.
Good advice: benefit from buying your food/drink coupons in advance for 2.40 euro/coupon. During the festival, coupons cost 2.50 euro each.
The coupons purchased in presales are sent out in the guise of ‘food&drinks vouchers’. These vouchers come with a unique barcode. They are scanned at a coupon stall on the festival ground in order for its holder to receive the corresponding amount of coupons.
How can I earn some free drink/food coupons?
We love to reward festival goers who like to collect thrown-away goblets with drink coupons. Whenever you collect 20 goblets or little PET bottles, you can exchange them for one free drink coupon at one of the recycling stands.
Where can we safely store our belongings?
There are safe lockers at the festival ground, in which you can secure your personal belongings. You can rent a locker for the day or for the entire festival.
Are there any facilities for the disabled on the festival ground?

Campsites are always located within walking distance from the festival ground. When you want to take along your personal belongings to the festival ground, you can always secure them in a safelocker at the festival ground.
Where can I find water on the festival ground?
Drinking-water is provided in different ways on the festival grounds. Next to the possibility to buy bottled water at every drink stand, you can freely use the taps with drinking water at the sanitary blocks and on other locations spread out over the festival grounds.
Can I recharge my mobile phone at the Festival Park?
Yes, you can. On the festival ground, you will find recharge poles where you will find most current loaders, courtesy of Proximus.
I'm not feeling well on the festival ground. What should I do?
Go and visit the Red Cross! Their first-aid stations are clearly marked on the festival ground. The Red Cross and MUG Leuven are always present at campsites as well.
Where can I find band shirts and official festival merchandise?
Some official band and festival merchandise outlets are foreseen on the festival ground.
Where can I withdraw money?
There is a mobile KBC branch where you can withdraw money with your bank card.
Can I work as a volunteer during Rock Werchter?
Many organizations from the region work with all possible manpower. Should you wish to work on the festival ground on an individual basis, then you can turn to some temporary employment offices. Some of our sponsors are looking for people this way.
What is the difference between a regular camping ticket and a camping ticket xl?
The campsite xl ticket enables you to come and stay at camp sites A2, A3 and A4 as from Wednesday June 27 at 4pm. The ticket remains valid until Monday July 2 at noon. Please do keep in mind that only 3 campsites will open on Wednesday, so the availability of xl tickets is limited. A campsite xl ticket can only be ordered as e-ticket and costs 25 euro (handling cost not included) in advance.
A regular campsite ticket costs 18 euro (cost for postage – if applicable – and handling not included) in advance, regardless of the length of stay. This campsite ticket is valid as from Thursday morning June 28, 8am until Monday July 2 at noon. The regular campsite ticket is valid for use at the campsite of one's choice. The ticketbuyer can opt for a classic ticket or an e-ticket.
Can I use my camping ticket xl at other campsites than A2, A3 or A4?
No, that is not possible. The campsite ticket xl gives you the right to a place at campsites A2, A3 or A4 only. You will not be able to camp at other campsites with this ticket.
From Thursday, can I still lodge at campsites A2, A3 or A4 with my regular camping ticket?
Maybe. If the maximum capacity from campsites A2, A3 or A4 has not been reached on Thursday morning, then you'll be able to stay at this campsite.
Be advised: If your friends have a campsite ticket xl, and they started lodging on Wednesday, it is not guaranteed that you will be able to stay with them using your regular campsite ticket! Please check the question: If I arrive later, can I still lodge with my friends at their tent on the campsite?
Can I stay with my friends at the same camping when I arrive later?
That is possible, only on one condition: that the campsite hasn't reached its full capacity yet.
